The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.

My Approach

When we are able to engage a sense of curiosity about ourselves and the world, great work can be done. Sometimes we lose access to this curiosity and my goal is to help restore this and make therapy a place of learning and growth.

I have a particular passion for treating those who feel disconnected from their true self. They may be lost in patterns of people pleasing, trying to be perfect, overworking, or chronic stress. Many times this a result of a trauma or deeply stressful experience. Together we uncover these patterns and work towards being who you really are, and not who you think you have to be.

The therapeutic bond is of paramount importance in this work and I aim to build collaborative relationships with my clients. I use an integrative and holistic approach. We will often work with the mind-body connection to help you gain a deep understanding of your experience and move past limitations. You can expect empathy, questions to make you think, some moments of humor, and compassionate honesty to give you the gentle push we all need from time to time.
